AARON HICKLIN
FOUNDER/EDITORIAL DIRECTOR
Aaron has been editor of three magazines, including Gear (1998-2003), BlackBook (2003-2006) and Out (2006-present), working with a celebrated list of writers from Bret Easton Ellis to William T. Vollmann, and photographers including Ruven Afanador, Ellen Von Unwerth, and Terry Richardson.
He has written cover stories for The Guardian, The Independent, and InStyle, among other publications, and created editorial programs with global brand partners in fashion, liquor, travel, and automotive.
He is the author of Boy Soldiers (Mainstream Press, 1995), and the editor of The Revolution Will Be Accessorized: The Best of BlackBook (HarperCollins, 2006).
He founded Grand Editorial in 2012, and One Grand Books in 2015.
